Gábor Herbert

Gábor Herbert [ ˈgaːbor ˈhɛrbɛrt ] (born February 6, 1979 in Komló ) is a Hungarian handball player .

The 1.94 meter tall and 112 kilogram heavy cyclist was under contract with Pick Szeged for several seasons . Before that he played with Győri ETO KC and before that in Szeged. He played with these two clubs in the EHF Champions League (2005/06 to 2010/11), the EHF Cup (2003/04), the European Cup Winners' Cup (2008/09) and the Euro City Cup (1997 / 98, 1998/99). In summer 2011 he moved to Csurgói KK .

Gábor Herbert scored 26 goals in 67 international matches for the Hungarian national team (as of December 2009); he is in Hungary's squad for the 2010 European handball championship .
