The Göckersgraben is a nearly three-kilometer forest stream in Lower Franconia , of the Würzburg district Steinbachtal coming from southsouthwest from right in the Main influx Steinbach flows.

The Göckersgraben arises at a height of about 297  m above sea level. NN in the southwestern Main Triangle on the Marktheidenfelder Platte in the community-free Guttenberger Forest on the southern slope of the Büchelberg ( 342  m above sea level ) west of Würzburg .

It initially flows a good three hundred meters westward through the forest and then swings to the northwest. From there it is the boundary between the Guttenberger Forest on the left and the Würzburg City Forest on the right, which belongs to the Heidingsfeld district of Würzburg . The stream now runs in a notch valley and gradually turns to the north-northwest. A good two kilometers down the stream it is reinforced on its right by the Hohleichengraben coming from the south-southeast .

Just two hundred meters later, the Göckersgraben finally flows out at about 225  m above sea level. NN at the northwest foot of the Unglücksberg ( 317  m above sea level ) and southwest of a former brickworks , which was donated to the Congregation of the Sisters of the Redeemer , from the right into the Steinbach flowing from the west .
