Gökhan Kaba (born November 24, 1983 in Adapazarı ) is a Turkish football player .

Career

society

Kaba started club football in the youth of Sakarya Tekspor and moved to Sakaryaspor in 2001 with a professional contract . There he played the first two years mostly in the reserve team. In the 2003/04 season he was used more often by the professionals and was part of the team that rose to the Süper Lig as champions of the TFF 1st Lig . Kaba stayed after this rise in the squad and was given to the second division Karşıyaka SK for the second half of the 2004/05 season . In the summer of 2005 he then moved to the first division club Çaykur Rizespor . Here he played a season and was occasionally used. The second season at Rizespor he was then loaned to the second division team Samsunspor .

In the summer of 2007 he then moved to the first division Istanbul Büyükşehir Belediyespor . At this club he played three and a half seasons as a supplementary player and was loaned to his old club Çaykur Rizespor for the second half of the 2010/11 season.

For the 2011/12 season he left Istanbul BB after four years and went to the second division club Kayseri Erciyesspor . Here he had a good season with 10 goals in 25 league encounters. Nevertheless, he left the club at the end of the season and moved within the league to promoted Adana Demirspor . Kaba left this club during the winter break and switched to league rivals Şanlıurfaspor . In the summer of 2013, the second division side Bucaspor signed him . This move was canceled before the end of the transfer period. Then Kaba moved to the third division Alanyaspor . With this club he finished the 2013/14 season as a playoff winner and rose to the TFF 1st Lig . Kaba scored 14 goals in 34 league games this season, making it the second most successful goalscorer of his team to be instrumental in this success.

For the 2014/15 season he was obliged by the second division club Orduspor . After only one league assignment for this club, he left the club again in November 2014.

National team

In 2005, Kaba played five times for the Turkish U-21 national team and scored three times.
