course

The Göriacher Bach rises in several arms of the spring on the north and east slopes between the Rotstein in the south and the Moschumandl or the Schlaitner Tor in the north. The source arms then unite and initially flow down to the north-northeast. In front of the Obertschellnig farm in the village of Göriach, the Göriacher Bach swings to the east and then takes up the Gereiterbachl on the left. The Göriacher Bach then flows eastwards and passes the higher-lying village of Göriach on the left and the village of Gantschach on the right . At the bottom of the valley, the Göriacher Bach first flows into a small, stagnant body of water and then on the right into the Isel.

The catchment area of the Michlbach lies in the northwest , and the Schlaitenbach catchment area to the southeast .
