Gössenheim is the capital of the community Gössenheim in the Lower Franconian district of Main-Spessart in Bavaria .

The place on whose eastern district the Homburg is located is 171  m above sea level. NHN between Hammelburg and Karlstadt on federal road 27 .

history

Gössenheim was a municipality in the district of Gemünden am Main until its dissolution. Since July 1, 1972, Gössenheim has been part of the Main-Spessart district . On January 9, 2017, the village had 857 main residents.
