Gösta Rudolf Torsten "Lill-Lulle" Johansson (born March 2, 1929 in Stockholm ; † April 10, 1997 ibid) was a Swedish ice hockey player and coach .

Career

At club level, Gösta Johansson first played in the 1945/46 season for IK Göta from Division 1 , the then top Swedish division. He then ran between 1947 and 1960 for his league rivals Djurgårdens IF . With Djurgårdens IF he won the national championship title in 1950, 1954, 1955, 1958, 1959, 1960 . His last position was from 1960 to 1962 for Västerås IK . From 1976 to 1978 he was head coach at HC Bozen from the Italian A1 series, with which he won the championship in 1977 and 1978.

International

For Sweden Johansson took part in the Olympic Winter Games in Oslo in 1952 , where he won the bronze medal with his team. As the best European team, Sweden also became European champions. He was also in his country's squad at the 1953 and 1954 World Championships . At the 1953 World Cup he won the gold medal with Sweden and was also European champion with his country. At the 1954 World Cup, he and his team won the bronze medal.

Gösta Johansson was the son of two-time Olympian in ice hockey Gustaf Johansson . He was married to the German figure skater Gundi Busch .
