Julius Gustaf Mauritz "Lulle" Johansson (born September 14, 1900 in Stockholm , † July 1, 1971 ibid) was a Swedish ice hockey player . His son Gösta Johansson was also a professional ice hockey player.

Career

At club level, Gustaf Johansson first played for IK Göta in the Swedish championship from 1920 to 1936 and won the national championship title with his team in 1922, 1923, 1924, 1927, 1928, 1929 and 1930. In parallel to playing with IK Göta, the Swede played regularly for the Berlin ice-skating club in Germany from 1921 to 1928 .

International

For Sweden Johansson took part in the Olympic Winter Games in Chamonix in 1924 and in St. Moritz in 1928 . At the 1928 Winter Games, he and his team won the silver medal. As the best European team at the Winter Olympics, he and his team won the European championship. He was also in his country's squad at the European Championships in 1923 , 1924 and 1932 and at the 1931 World Cup .
