Life

Günter Nehm grew up in Clausthal and Aachen . From 1943 he was an air force helper . After the war he worked in road construction, agriculture and mining. From 1949 to 1953 he studied mining with a diploma, then he worked for various mining companies in the Ruhr area, mainly as a processor in the hard coal mining , and until his retirement in 1983 in various positions, most recently as head of the quality department.

From 1975 Günter Nehm published numerous volumes of poetry, initially mainly with comic and thoughtful poems in the style of the great humorous poets, after his retirement increasingly with language acrobatics such as abecedarius , anagram , palindrome and shaking rhyme - e.g. B. “Bad thieves stole goods. Bad the stolen were. ”- in which he is considered a master of his subject.
