Günter Pangerl (born June 24, 1945 ) is a former German football player .

career

The striker played in the second-rate Regionalliga West for Bayer 04 Leverkusen , Eintracht Gelsenkirchen and Preußen Münster in the early 1970s . From Sterkrade 06/07 he came to the regional league club Bayer Leverkusen in the 1970/71 season and made his debut under coach Theo Kirchberg on the start day, August 16, 1970, in the away game at SC Viktoria Köln as a left winger in the regional football league West. From 1970 to 1972 he played 33 games for Leverkusen and scored three goals. In the 1972/73 round, Pangerl stormed for Eintracht Gelsenkirchen in 33 regional league games and scored four goals. The last year of the old second division of the Regionalliga,1973/74 , he was under contract with Preußen Münster and came to 28 missions and one goal. In the summer of 1974 Günter Pangerl moved to 1. FC Bocholt in the Association League Niederrhein . After a good fourth place in the first year he was with the club in 1975/76 Niederrheinmeister, but failed in the following round of promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga at Bonner SC and VfL Wolfsburg . In the 1976/77 season , the striker celebrated promotion to the Second Bundesliga North with the club as a runner-up in the second attempt , after having successfully prevailed against Spandauer SV and SVA Gütersloh in the promotion games . In 1977, however, Pangerl switched back to the amateur sector at Rot-Weiß Oberhausen . With RWO he was 1978/79 champion of the Oberliga Nordrhein; for Oberhausen he completed 57 games (13 goals) in the Oberliga Nordrhein and the second Bundesliga in three years .

In later years he was a trainer in the Oberhausen area, among others at SG Osterfeld and Schwarz-Weiß Alstaden .
