Günter Zemla

Günter Zemla (born May 18, 1921 in Groschowitz , Opole district , † November 3, 2000 in Berlin ) was a German politician ( CDU ).

Günter Zemla attended high school and was drafted into the Reich Labor Service in 1940 . He then had to join the Wehrmacht and later became a prisoner of war . After the Second World War , he started a new teacher course with the Magistrate of Greater Berlin in April 1946 and began teaching in the Berlin district of Reinickendorf in December . In October 1955, Zemla was appointed teacher and civil servant for life . The following year he joined the CDU. In 1960 he moved to the district assembly of Reinickendorf. In the Berlin election in 1967 he was elected to the Berlin House of Representatives, to which he belonged until 1985. Until Zemla's retirement he was the principal of the 5th elementary school in Reinickendorf for many years .
