GFA League First Division 1995/96

The 1995/1996 season of the GFA League First Division , the Gambian football championship, ended in 1996. The championship won the Hawks Banjul , after the 1992/93 season it was the second time that the club was able to win the title.

Ten teams played for the title in a round-trip round , so that 18 games were scheduled for each team. The two teams Saraba Football Club and Starlight Gunners were promoted from the GFA League Second Division and joined the league. At the end of the season, the bottom two Flamemins Football Club and Saraba Football Club had to relegate to the Second Division.

A final table is not used.
