The 2000/2001 season of the GFA League First Division of the Gambian Football Championship took place between January 28, 2001 and May 27, 2001. Ten teams played for the title, which Wallidan Banjul was able to win for the 11th time. The bottom of the table Sait Matty Football Club and Kaira Silo had to relegate .
