The 2008 season of the GFA League First Division of the Gambian Football Championship took place between February 24, 2008 and July 12, 2009. Twelve teams played for the title, which Wallidan Football Club won for the 15th time. The bottom of the table Africell Football Club and Interior FC had to relegate .
