GFA League First Division 2017/18

The GFA League First Division 2017/18 was the 50th edition of the soccer championship in Gambia . Gamtel FC from Banjul became champions for the second time . The multiple champions Steve Biko FC and Bombada United had to relegate . They were replaced by Samger FC from Kanifing , record champions Wallidan Banjul , BK Milan FC from Bakau and PSV Welingara . The next season will be played with 14 clubs.
