GUT (alternative spelling GUT ) is a German grindcore band that, along with the band Dead, is considered the founder of Porngrind . Compared to classic Grindcore, their style is characterized as simpler, slower and rockier .
Band history
GUT was founded in 1991 by drummer Tim Eiermann (pseudonym "Organic Masturbator Of 1000 Splatter Whores aka HB Boner aka Hott Beatz Bonassis") and guitarist Joe Proell (pseudonym "Torturer Of Lacerated And Satanic Tits aka G. Cheezus"), who are both members of Were pyogenesis . Shortly after the founding, singer Oliver Roder (pseudonym "GG Ollin aka Spermsoaked Consumer Of Pussy Barbeque aka Bukkake Boy") joined the band. In July 1991 GUT recorded the first demo Drowned in Female Excrements , but without a bass player . In the spring, more titles were recorded, which appeared on various EPs in the following years . Musically, the group moved away from classic grindcore, played slower and more comprehensible songs, the lyrics of which revolved around topics from splatter and pornography . This is considered to be the birth of the Porngrind. Due to their appearance and because of the way they dealt with the audience at live shows, GUT hardly received any offers and performed mostly in southwest and east Germany. They were supported by members of their colleagues from Dead and by Nyctophobic bassist Pumpgun Messiah. In the summer, the band recorded their debut album Odor of Torture , which was released in 1995 by Morbid Records . For unknown reasons, GUT disbanded in April 1995.
Drummer Tim Eiermann founded Liquido , singer Oliver Roder devoted himself to his electric Grind project Nunwhore Commando 666 , the Techno - grindcore band Libido airbag and covered under the name ROD well the horror Core -Rap as his musical spectrum. In 2004 Roder announced that he wanted to reform GUT. In January 2005 she recorded the comeback album The Cumback 2006 , which was released in 2006 and combined grindcore with elements of hip-hop , hardcore punk and electronic music . In 2006 more titles were added, including a. with Otto von Schirach as the GUTTO project . In 2010 there was a split EP with Satan's Revenge on Mankind, the last release so far was the album DISCIPLES OF SMUT in 2020.
