Huvadhu Atholhu Dhekunuburi ( South Huvadhu Atoll ), with the Thaana short name ގދ( Gaafu Dhaalu or Gaafu Dhaal ), is an administrative atoll ( district ) in the south of the Maldives .

It covers the southern part of the great Huvadhu Atoll . The population is around 11,000 (as of 2006).

Nine islands are inhabited, in addition to the administrative capital on the island of Thinadhoo (4,442 inhabitants) these are Faresmaathodaa , Fiyoari , Gadhdhoo , Hoadedhdhoo , Madeveli , Nadallaa , Rathafandhoo and Vaadhoo . The district comprises a total of 153 islands.

To the north is the Gaafu Alif province , which includes the northern part of the Huvadhu Atoll. About 55 km south is the Gnaviyani province .
