Gabi Kreslehner
Gabi Kreslehner (* 1965 in Linz ) is an Austrian writer.
Life
Gabi Kreslehner grew up with six siblings on a farm. She works as a teacher for German, technical craft and art education at the secondary school in Ottensheim . Kreslehner wrote as a child, and when she was 20 she won a poetry prize. It was not until she was a teacher that she began to work again in literature: She adapted stories as theater pieces that she performed with her students.
Short stories and poetry by her have already appeared in anthologies.
Her novel Charlotte's Dream was filmed in 2015 by Dominik Hartl under the title Beautiful Girl with Jana McKinnon as Charly.
