The Klein Vielener See is a lake in the municipality of Klein Many in the Mecklenburg Lake District in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania . The body of water is approximately 2,300 meters long and up to 550 meters wide with a small wooded island in the northeastern part. On the north bank, the Hufenholz forest borders the lake. The heights around the lake reach 73.5  m above sea level with the Seeberg in the south NHN . Federal highway 193 runs south of the lake .

Nature reserve

The Klein Vielener See with its adjacent bank areas is designated as a 162 hectare nature reserve of the same name. The protected status was made on 7 July 1993 with an expansion in 1996. The eutrophic shallow lake serves as breeding, resting and wintering area for a variety of water and wader species such as gray geese , mergansers , Smew and Red-necked Grebe . But it is also the territory of ospreys and sea ​​eagles , gray herons and kingfisher . In the east there is a tributary stream, under the B 193, from Wedensee .

The current state of the area is considered to be good. There are no public roads in the area.
