The Eichhorst nature reserve in the Schönbeck Forest is a 230 hectare nature reserve in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, two kilometers west of Schönbeck . It was placed under protection on October 21, 1981 with the aim of preserving a structurally rich former farm forest with wetlands, the habitat is for rare and endangered species such as white-tailed eagles , spotted eagles and black storks . The current state of the area is considered to be satisfactory as the areas continue to be drained. There are several ways to enter the areas.
