The nature reserve north shore Plätlinsee is a 304 hectare nature reserve in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania . It is located southeast of Wesenberg , northeast of Wustrow and was expelled on August 16, 1994. The purpose of the protection is to preserve the northern part of the Plätlinsee and the surrounding marshland areas of grassland. The state of the area is only rated as satisfactory. The intensive recreational use of the area by campers, paddlers and hunters leads to disturbance of the bird world. Furthermore, the lowering of the water level in the bog areas has a negative effect. It is not possible to enter the protected area.
