Gabriela Permaner
Gabriela Dauerer (* 1958 in Nuremberg ) is a contemporary German painter . She is a representative of radical painting.
Life
From 1979 to 1986, Dauerer studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Nuremberg under Ernst Weil and Christine Colditz. During this time she won the Academy Prize and a grant from the Franco-German Youth Office for a three-year stay in Nice at the Villa Arson . From 1984 to 1986 she completed a diploma course in Nice at the Ecole Pilote Internationale d'Art et de Recherche , among others with Ben Vautier . In 1986 Permaner received the Bavarian Debutante Award for young writers and visual artists. In 1988 he spent a year in Florence for the Villa Romana Prize.
In 1992, on the basis of a scholarship from the Bavarian State Ministry for Science and Art , Dauerer stayed for one year in New York and Tucson , USA. In 2003, together with Barbara Sillari , she represented Monaco at the 50th Venice Biennale with the project Il sogno que risorge dalla vita . From 1989 to 2002 Permaner lived and worked mainly in the Rhineland. Since then she has lived in Nuremberg again.
