from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Gabriele Adinolfi (born January 3, 1954 in Rome ) is an Italian publicist and neo-fascist activist . He is one of the leading ideologues of the extreme right in Europe.

Life

Gabriele Adinolfi was active in the neo-fascist party Movimento Sociale Italiano during the 1968s . In the 1970s he then joined right-wing extremist organizations such as Avanguardia Nazionale . Together with Roberto Fiore and Giuseppe Dimitri , he founded the neo-fascist organization Lotta Studentesca in 1976 , which was later called Terza Posizione . This pursued anti-capitalist goals. The right-wing terrorist Nuclei Armati Rivoluzionari (NAR) emerged from it. An arrest warrant was issued against him in connection with the investigation into the 1980 Bologna attack . His group was banned and he went into exile in France for 20 years . In 1992 he founded various magazines a. a. Orion and Rinascita . He also installed the political blog Noreporter . After the death of his business partner Walter Spedicato , he stopped the publication. After the statute of limitations for the case in 2000, he returned to Italy. He is currently responsible for Orion magazine and the NoReporter website , and runs the Centro Studi Polaris think tank . He is also the author of several books on the so-called Third Way .

In 2013 he was involved as a guest in the program of the new right trade fair Zwischenentag , organized by Götz Kubitschek .

As the historian Andrea Mammone pointed out, the “ideologist” Gabriele Adinolfi, alongside the French Christian Bouchet, played a key role in spreading fascist ideas in France. According to the political scientist Markus K. Grimm , Adinolfi recently made the unsuccessful attempt to unite the “ skin and ultra groups” into a so-called “national movement”. Ideologically, he moved between Terza Posizione and National Socialism . For the political scientist José Pedro Zúquete, he is one of the leaders of the neo-fascist Italian organization CasaPound . Right-wing extremism researcher Helmut Kellershohn sees him as a “thought leader” at CasaPound.

His son Carlomanno Adinolfi is the editor-in-chief of Occidentale .
