Gabrielle Meyer

Gabrielle Solange Meyer (married Morère; born May 10, 1947 in Toulouse , † November 18, 2018 in Lévignac ) was a French sprinter .

At the European Athletics Championships in 1966, she was eighth in the 4 x 100 meter relay . Over 200 m she was eliminated in the semifinals and over 100 m . In 1967 she won the Universiade over 200 m and won silver over 100 m .

At the Olympic Games in 1968, she was eighth in the 4-by-100-meter relay and reached the quarter-finals over 100 m .

The following year she was fifth in the 200 m and fourth in the 4 x 100 m relay at the European Championships in Athens in 1969 . In 1970 she retired from the European Athletics Indoor Championships in Vienna over 60 m in the preliminary run. At the EM in 1971 in Helsinki she was seventh in the 4-by-100-meter relay and was eliminated over 200 m in the semifinals.

She was three times French champion over 100 m (1965-1967) and twice over 200 m (1965, 1966).
