The Gagne is a river in France that runs in the Haute-Loire department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region . It rises in the municipality of Saint-Front , generally drains west to northwest and flows into the upper reaches after 26 kilometers at the municipal boundary of Saint-Germain-Laprade and Coubon , almost two kilometers east of Le Puy-en-Velay , as a right tributary the Loire .
