The Gaisberg is 1770 m above sea level. A. high mountain in the Kitzbühel Alps in Tyrol .
Location and surroundings
The Gaisberg lies between the Brixental in the north and the Spertental in the east. In the west is the Brixenbachalm , to the southwest a mountain ridge extends to the neighboring mountain Gampenkogel ( 1957 m ). The municipality of Kirchberg in Tirol is located at the northeastern foot of the Gaisberg .
summer
In summer the Gaisberg is a popular mountain for hikers and mountain bikers. Marked hiking trails lead to the summit from both the south and the northeast. The chair lift (837–1289 m) on the Gaisberg is also open in summer. The transport of mountain bikes is possible.
