Galina Konstantinovna Grigoriev ( Russian Галина Константиновна Григорьева * 28 June 1917 in Moscow ; † 16th April 1969 ibid) was a Soviet theater - and film - Actress .

Grigoryeva graduated from school in 1932 and then attended the Moscow radio technical college for a year . At the same time she worked as a secretary for the Central Soviet Statistical Office. From 1933 to 1936 Grigoryeva studied at the drama school of the Academic State Theater , where he also gained practical stage experience. From 1938 to 1941 she also played at a theater directed by Nikolai Sergejewitsch Plotnikow in Moscow and from 1945 to 1950 at the theater studio of the movie actors there , before she found a permanent artistic home at the Mayakovsky Theater . The dark-haired mime appeared here until her death, one of her most famous roles was that of Queen Gertrude in Nikolai Ochlopkov's production of Hamlet .
Her film debut gave Grigoriev 1936 in the Pushkin - adaptation Дубровский ( Dubrovsky ). Until her death, only nine more engagements in front of the camera should follow. She gave her only leading role in 1945 in Alexander Rous The Immortal Kashchai , seven years later she played again as a stepmother in May Night under his direction. Grigoryeva also appeared in the short film Два брата ( Dwa brata , 1937) and in the television play Медея ( Medeja , 1967) performed by members of the Mayakovsky Theater . She was over the years for the studio Lenfilm , Turkmenfilm , Film Studio Tashkent and Mosfilm active.
Grigoryeva died two and a half months before her 52nd birthday and was buried in the Novodevichy Cemetery. Rumors say she suffered from an inferiority complex and committed because of its suicide .
Honors
In 1946 Galina Grigoryeva received the medal “For heroic work in the Great Patriotic War 1941–1945” , and in 1959 she was also named an Honored Artist of the Kabardino-Balkarian ASSR .
