Gallham is a village and a cadastral municipality of the market town of Prambachkirchen in the Eferding district in the Hausruckviertel in Upper Austria .

The place is located southwest of Prambachkirchen and consists of a few farms and several houses. The Gallhamer Bach flows through the village and irrigates the moor pond immediately west of Gallham . This pond is about one hectare in size and is used for fish farming. World icon

history

The earliest written evidence is from 1345 and is "Kallenhaim". The name goes back to Middle High German kal ( kahl, barren) or kalne, kalle (marshy water).
