Gardena Ronda

The Gardenaronda is next to the Sella Ronda one of the major ski carousels of the Dolomites area . This ski carousel is located in South Tyrol ( Italy ).

It spans three different parishes; to the west is Ortisei , in the middle with the Secedaalm and Monte Pana is St. Christina , and to the east is the municipality of Selva with Dantercepies , Ciampinoi and Piz Sella . It takes up the entire ski area of Val Gardena .

With the inclusion of the Dolomites in the UNESCO - World Heritage also was Puez-Geisler "ennobled". You can see this well from the Secedaalm . From there you can also see the summit of the Sassolungo and the Sella massif .

On the descent from Seceda to the valley ( St. Christina ), the longest giant slalom race in the world, the Gardenissima , is held every year towards the end of March .
