The Garnet Knob is a 143 m high and dark ledge on the Ingrid Christensen coast of the East Antarctic Princess Elisabeth Land . It rises about 1.8 km south-southwest of the Law-Racoviță station from the ice plateau on the southern edge of the Larsemann Hills .
Scientists of a 1986-1987 campaign carried out as part of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions him named after the found here grenades ( English garnets ).
