Gaspare Fumagalli
Gaspare Fumagalli (* around 1735 in Rome , † 1785 in Palermo ) was an Italian painter in Sicily .
Life
Fumagalli was educated in Rome but came to Palermo at a young age, where he occasionally decorated palaces with frescoes with Vito D'Anna . In addition to frescoes, his panel paintings are known, the subjects of which range from vedutas to landscapes to still lifes and genre scenes . His design for an epitaph in the Cathedral of Palermo , dedicated to the late King Philip V , dates from 1747 .
