Gastón González (born March 28, 1995 in Jaca ) is a Spanish ice hockey player who has been playing in the super league at CH Jaca since 2012 .

Career

Gastón González began his career as a hockey player in the youth department of the CH Jaca , for which he made his debut in the Superliga in 2012 . In 2015 and 2016 he was the Spanish national champion with the team .

International

For Spain, González took part in the junior division of the U18 World Junior Championships in Division II in 2012 and 2013 and the U20 World Junior Championships in Division II in 2013 , 2014 and 2015 . He also took part in the 2015 Winter Universiade in Granada , Spain, with the selection of Spanish students .

He made his debut in the men's national team at the World Cup of Division II in 2015 , when he met twice in the opening game against the later relegated Australia . He also played with the Iberians in Division II in 2016 , 2017 and 2018. He also represented his colors in qualifying for the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang .
