The Gauliga Berlin-Brandenburg 1944/45 was the last season of the Gauliga Berlin-Brandenburg in football, but was canceled prematurely in February 1945 due to the approaching war events . Even before the start of the season, the Second World War had cast its shadow. Each team had to assign several players as soldiers. Then both SC Minerva 93 and Spandauer SV as well as Lufthansa SG Berlin and Viktoria 89 formed so-called war syndicates .
