The Gauliga Niederrhein 1936/37 was the fourth season of the Gauliga Niederrhein in football. The championship was held again this season in a round-robin tournament with ten teams. Fortuna Düsseldorf secured the Gaume Championship for the second time with one point ahead of TuS Duisburg 48/99 . The Düsseldorf team thus qualified for the German soccer championship 1936/37 , in which the team was in a group with 1. FC Nürnberg , SV Waldhof Mannheim and VfR Köln 04 rrh. Second came what was not enough to advance. The relegation ranks occupied the Duisburg FV 08 and the Prussian Krefeld . Union 02 Hamborn and BV Altenessen 06 rose from the district leagues .
