gaupenraub +/- is an architecture firm founded in 1999 and based in Vienna .

history

The architectural office gaupenraub +/- was founded in 1999 by Ulrike Schartner and Alexander Hagner in Vienna. Her first projects included numerous smaller conversions and extensions. During the more than 15 years of the office's activity, gaupenraub +/- now works in different areas and scales, her wide-ranging field of work ranges from building in existing buildings to urban planning designs to furniture and product design. Her most important projects include the egg museum for the sculptor Wander Bertoni in Winden am See, the renovation and expansion of the MCM Klosterfrau Healthcare Group's premises , as well as the office conversion to the Agenda Austria think tank by Franz Schellhorn . In addition, gaupenraub +/- has been increasingly involved in projects for disadvantaged people such as B. the VinziRast emergency sleeping area, the realization of the Memobil, a piece of furniture for people with dementia, or the VinziRast-mittendrin , a building for homeless people and students to live together.

Alexander Hagner (* 1963)
