Gediminas Paulauskas (born October 27, 1982 in Kupiškis ) is a Lithuanian football player . Since summer 2011 he has been playing for Piast Gliwice in the Polish second division .

Career

society

Paulauskas started his professional career in 1999 at Ekranas Panevėžys . In 2005 he won the Lithuanian championship with Ekranas Panevėžys . He stayed with the club until the end of 2007 and then moved to MKE Ankaragücü in Turkey . After only one league game, after a month the change to Switzerland , to AC Bellinzona . After six league games, he returned to his homeland in summer 2008 and signed with Vėtra Vilnius , for which he played until the end of 2009 . Then he tried his luck abroad again. Paulauskas moved to Illichivets Mariupol in Ukraine , where he only played seven games for the first team before he was transferred to the second team. Therefore, he moved to the summer break and the Polish second division Piast Gliwice .

National team

Gediminas Paulauskas made his debut for the Lithuanian national football team in 2005 . By the end of 2010 he had completed a total of 27 international matches for Lithuania.
