The Gedrecht is a 2217 meter high mountain in the Tux Alps , which belongs to the western slope of the Zillertal . It is located about five kilometers west of Aschau and is considered a panoramic mountain due to its exposed location.
During the winter season, the mountain slopes of the Gederecht form the northeastern part of the Hochfügen-Hochzillertal ski area . In the summer months, the mountain is accessed by several marked hiking trails.
