(1993)

Generation Terrorists is the debut of Welsh band Manic Street Preachers . It was published on 10 February 1992. The style of recording is similar to the album Appetite for Destruction by Guns N 'Roses ; the band pursued a guitar-oriented hard rock , which gave way to a somewhat quieter alternative rock on the later albums . The lyrics are very much inspired by the socialism of the band members - 16 of the 18 songs have a text that is critical of politics / society. This went so far that only a defused recording of the LP was allowed to be sold in the USA (the same happened to The Clash when they released their self-titled debut ).
