The Gentner peak is about 115 m high hill on the Ingrid Christensen Coast of the East Antarctic Princess Elisabeth country . It rises around 2.8 km west of the Law Racoviță station in the Larsemann Hills .
The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named it in 1988 after Neil Gentner, diesel generator mechanic at Davis Station in 1986, who was involved in the construction of the predecessor of the Law Racoviță station after crossing the Sørsdal Glacier that year .
