Georg Beck (politician)

Georg Beck (born April 27, 1890 in Reichenau-Oberzell , † June 7, 1968 in Konstanz ) was initially a farmer and fisherman. During World War severely wounded, he was forced to make a career change, a high school made by, studied from 1920 Law and was named after the state exam then officials and local politicians.

From 1936 to 1945 he was a civil servant at the Archbishopric of the Oberstiftungrat ( Archdiocese of Freiburg ) in Freiburg im Breisgau and from 1945 to 1947 mayor of the Reichenau municipality on the island of Reichenau of the same name . From 1947 to 1949 he was acting district administrator in the district of Waldshut and was then elected as district administrator in the district of Überlingen ( Lake Constance district ) in 1949. In 1955 he retired.
