Georg Ehnes

Georg Ehnes (born September 27, 1920 in Mittelstetten near Wörnitz ; † April 27, 1991 there ) was a German politician ( CSU ).

Life

Ehnes, who was of Protestant faith, took over his parents' farm after serving in the war and imprisonment in 1946. From 1967 on he was the Middle Franconian district chairman of the Bavarian Farmers' Association. In 1971 he also became chairman of the Central Association of Milk Producers in Bavaria.

From 1947 to 1965 he was a member of the council of his home parish. From 1952 to 1972 he was a member of the district council.

He was a member of the Bavarian state parliament from 1958 to October 9, 1961, a member of the Bundestag from 1961 to September 19, 1972, and from July 1, 1972 to 1990 district administrator of the Ansbach district , after having been deputy district administrator since 1955. His state parliament mandate went to Heinrich Meier as a successor during the current fourth legislative period .

Among other things, Ehnes was a member of the Bavarian Senate and President of the Bavarian Farmers' Association of Middle Franconia from 1970 to 1991 . Georg Ehnes shaped the new district of Ansbach significantly and brought the districts of Gunzenhausen , Neustadt / Aisch , the old districts of Rothenburg o. T. , Ansbach, Dinkelsbühl and Feuchtwangen together into a homogeneous unit.
