Georg Gemehl was married to Maria Apollonia nee Sommer (* approx. 1758 in Heidelberg; † 23 August 1829), she was the daughter of the valet Johann Kaspar Sommer and Anna nee Stephani. career

After studying at the University of Heidelberg , which he completed in 1771 with his master's degree, he became a military auditor in 1777 . In 1794 he was promoted to captain and then employed as an assessor at the vice cathedral office in Bruchsal. After the dissolution of the bishopric of Speyer , he was taken over into the Baden state service and was city administrator of the Bruchsal city office from 1803 to 1806 and at the same time city ​​councilor .
