Georg Graßl
Georg Graßl called "painter Schorschi" (born May 27, 1926 in Ramsau near Berchtesgaden ; † January 4, 1995 there ) was a German politician ( CSU ).
After an apprenticeship and master's examination in painting, he started his own business in Ramsau near Berchtesgaden. He was a member of the Ramsau municipal council from 1960 to 1984, and from 1972 to 1984 he was 1st mayor. From 1978 to 1986 he was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament . He was a member of the district council of the district of Berchtesgadener Land and the board of trustees of the Berchtesgadener Landesstiftung (so-called Kehlstein Foundation ). In the state parliament he devoted himself, among other things, to medium-sized business policy . Graßl belonged to the working group Mittelstand (today Mittelstands-Union (MU)). He was the first and so far only member of the state parliament from the area of the former prince provostie Berchtesgaden since it belonged to Bavaria in 1810.
