Georg Greißinger

Georg Greißinger (born February 13, 1934 in Erfurt ; † April 6, 2012 in Steinhude ) was a German lawyer .

Live and act

Born in Erfurt Greißinger 1946 moved to Oldenburg , graduated in the spring of 1952 graduated from high school in Delmenhorst and studied from 1952 in Göttingen , later in Hamburg law . In Göttingen he became a member of the Holzminda fraternity in the summer semester of 1952 . His first state exam he graduated from 1956. 1960 he was in Hamburg for Dr. iur. PhD . He passed the second state examination on May 12, 1961 in Celle . Since the day of his admission on October 20, 1961, he worked as a lawyer and since April 19, 1973 as a notary in Hildesheim . From 1970 he was a member of the board of directors of the Hildesheim Lawyers' Association, and later he became an honorary member. Since 1975 he has been a member of the board of the Lower Saxony Lawyers and Notaries Association and since 1977 on the board of the German Lawyers' Association , where he was Vice President of the Presidium until 1993.

One of his legal focuses was traffic law , he fought for a long time for the introduction of the specialist lawyer for traffic law . He was also a member of the presidium of the German Traffic Court Assembly for a long time . Since the establishment of the Insurance Law Working Group in 1996, he was a member of the board and editor of the magazine he initiated, Spectrum for Insurance Law. He was also the editor of the magazine for damage law .

With a decision by the Federal Constitutional Court , Greißinger was recognized as a specialist in traffic law.
