Family (1935)

Georg Hans Müller married Anna Rehm on June 9, 1931. The maiden name of his wife was then also added to the name, so that from this time onwards he signed his works with it or monogrammed "GHMR". The couple lived at Nikolaistrasse 10 in Munich until around 1934. They later moved to a house designed by the artist himself at Finauerstraße 8 in Munich Schwabing-Freimann , which also housed the studio. They moved to Wasserburg shortly before the outbreak of World War II .

Georg Hans Müller was drafted into the war and had been missing near Cottbus since mid-April 1945. In 1958 his death was declared December 31, 1945.

Georg Hans Müller-Rehm should not be confused with the sculptor Georg Müller (1880–1952), who was also active in Munich .
