Georg Heinrich Stoltze

Georg Heinrich Stoltze (born July 31, 1784 in Hanover ; † July 23, 1826 in Halle (Saale) ) was a German pharmacist , pharmacist , university professor , author and editor .

Life

Georg Heinrich Stoltze, born during the personal union between Great Britain and Hanover at the time of the Electorate of Braunschweig-Lüneburg , studied at the University of Halle , where he was awarded the title of Dr. phil. lock. He worked as the administrator of the Halle orphanage pharmacy, worked as a private lecturer on site in 1816 and in 1824 took over an extraordinary professorship for pharmacy at the University of Halle.

In addition to other writings, Stoltze published various pharmaceutical articles on wood acid or Chinese alkaloids in the Berliner Jahrbuch für Pharmacie, which he himself published from 1824 onwards .
