Georg Korpás
Georg Korpás (born May 23, 1972 in Hungary ) is a Hungarian- German special effects - make- up artist .
Life
Korpás was born in Hungary and came to Munich with his parents as a child , where he attended school on Winthirplatz in the Neuhausen district until 1990 . At the age of twelve he already had the desire to become a make-up artist. After training as a hairdresser, he completed a three-year training course at the theater. He has been working as a make-up artist since the mid-1990s.
In 1997 he had the opportunity to work for István Szabó , who was also from Hungary . Since then he has worked as a make-up artist in numerous German and international stage, film and television productions. Almost 100 productions in which he was involved are listed in the Internet Movie Database alone . He has a special friendship with Michael "Bully" Herbig , in whose productions he has always been responsible for the make-up since the late 1990s, beginning with his film Erkan & Stefan .
He imparts his knowledge in the form of theater seminars and is a trainer for the ARD.ZDF medienakademie .

Korpás is married and runs his atelier SFX Makeup & Prosthetics Atelier in Munich . He is a member of the SkinArt Special Make Up FX Academy in Berlin and of the Bundesvereinigung Maskenbild eV (BVM), which also served on the board for some time.
