Brian Gleeson (born November 14, 1987 in Dublin ) is an Irish film actor .

Life

Brian Gleeson was born in Dublin in 1987 . He is the son of Mary and Brendan Gleeson , who is also an actor. He also has an older brother, Domhnall Gleeson, who also works as an actor, and two other brothers, Fergus Gleeson and Rory / Ruairi Gleeson. In this artist family Gleeson grew up in Malahide , a seaside resort in County Fingal northeast of Dublin. His father worked as an English and Irish teacher before becoming an actor.

Brian Gleeson got his first film role in the crime comedy The Tiger's Tail by John Boorman in 2006. From 2007 to 2009 he was seen in a total of seven episodes of the television series Single-Handed . This was followed by roles in films such as Wake Wood and Snow White and the Huntsman .

In 2016 he played together with his father in the movie Assassin's Creed by Justin Kurzel , in 2017 together with his brother Domhnall in the movie Mother! by Darren Aronofsky . In 2017 he played the role of Cooper in a production of the Apollo Theater in London's West End in a production of Tennessee Williams ' play The Cat on a Hot Tin Roof .
