Georg Kügel

Georg Kügel (born November 7, 1904 in Hirschaid ; † July 5, 1979 there ) was a German politician of the CSU .

history

Kügel attended elementary school in Hirschaid, the old grammar school in Bamberg , which he left with secondary school leaving certificate, and the agricultural school in Bamberg. In 1934 he took over a farm and an agricultural trading company from his parents. After the war he devoted himself to local politics. On August 1st, 1945 he was appointed first mayor of his home municipality by District Administrator Thomas Dehler and held this office for 27 years - confirmed by elections several times. Later he was also a member of the district council and district committee of the Bamberg district and from 1954 to 1970 the district council and district committee of Upper Franconia . On 8 April 1963 he moved to the late Alfons Kreußel inBavarian state parliament, to which he belonged until the end of the 1966 electoral term. During this time he was on the Submissions and Complaints Committee.
