Georg Kundert
Georg Bankl Kundert (born November 18, 1873 in Vienna ; † December 21, 1925 there ) was an Austrian actor , theater director and film director .
Life
He made his acting debut in 1892 at the Rudolfsheimer Volkstheater in Vienna and then played in Laibach , Heidelberg , Ingolstadt and Breslau, among others . At that time he was also directing.
In 1909 he returned to Vienna and worked as an actor and director at the theater Die Fledermaus . In 1913 he had his first film appearances, initially in small roles. He became known in 1919 as Josef Bratfisch in the film Crown Prince Rudolph or: The Secret of Mayerling . In 1925 the film was re-released with a few additional recordings under the title Leibfiaker Bratfisch . In addition, Kundert worked as a director for several silent films.
