Georg Widenbauer

Georg Widenbauer (born September 14, 1875 in Kastl ; † December 1, 1960 there ) was a German teacher and local researcher .

Life

Wide Bauer studied at the University of Munich German . During his studies he became a member of the Corps Ratisbonia in 1896 . After completing his studies, he was a teacher at secondary schools in Bayreuth , Regensburg and most recently as a senior teacher in Munich. Politically active in the German National People's Party of Bavaria, he refused to join the NSDAP and was therefore forcibly retired in 1935. After that he was only active as a writer.

On his 80th birthday in 1955, he became an honorary citizen of Kastl.
